ETERNAL (English Teaching Journal) has been accredited as a scientific journal by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic Indonesia (Sinta 5): 200/M/KPT/2020 PERIOD: 2018-2022. ETERNAL (English Teaching Journal) is published twice a year in the month of February and August ISSN 2086-5473 (Print) and ISSN 2614-1639(Online). It presents articles on English language teaching and learnings, literature and research. The contents include analysis studies, application of theories, research reports, material developments and reviews.
Aim & Scope
ETERNAL: English Teaching Journal is a peer-reviewed publication dedicated exclusively to English Language Teaching (ELT) and Applied Linguistics. The journal publishes rigorous scholarship that advances theoretical, empirical, and pedagogical understanding in English language education. The journal strictly accepts submissions within the following areas: 1. Applied Linguistics for ELT Research in applied linguistics with direct relevance to English language pedagogy, including second language acquisition, discourse studies, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and corpus-based analyses. 2. ELT Pedagogies and Instructional Innovation Studies on teaching methods, pedagogical models, curriculum design, classroom practices, digital learning, and technology- or AI-enhanced instruction in English language education. 3. Empirical ELT Research Evidence based investigations using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods approaches that focus on teaching effectiveness, learner outcomes, language assessment, and teacher professional development. 4. ELT Materials and Resource Development Design, development, evaluation, and review of instructional materials, digital resources, and learning tools specifically for English language teaching. 5. Theoretical and Conceptual Papers in ELT and Applied Linguistics Critical reviews, theoretical discussions, and conceptual contributions that enhance disciplinary knowledge and inform ELT practice.
