Kecemasan merupakan salah satu masalah psikologis yang sering muncul pada pasien preoperasi. Kondisi ini dapat berdampak pada perubahan fisiologis seperti peningkatan tekanan darah, denyut jantung, serta menurunkan kesiapan pasien menghadapi pembedahan. Relaksasi Benson merupakan intervensi nonfarmakologis sederhana, murah, dan efektif untuk menurunkan kecemasan.
