Telah dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi Web Crawler untuk melakukan penjelajahan dan pengambilanhalaman-halaman Web yang ada di Internet. Program crawl memanfaatkan WordNet dan ontology daristruktur Open Directory Project (ODP) untuk mencari relevansi suatu halaman web dengan kata kunci.Pentingnya suatu halaman web dihitung menggunakan rumus similaritas tekstual.
