Penyakit diabetes mellitus (DM) dan hipertensi merupakan penyakit dengan angka kejadian yang tinggi di Indonesia maupun dunia. Berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh bahwa warga Kampung Windan, Kelurahan Makamhaji, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, memerlukan pengetahuan terkait pemanfaatan tanaman sebagai obat herbal untuk terapi DM dan hipertensi.
