Prototype and Validation of an IoT-Based Voltage and Temperature Monitoring System for Remote ISP Point-of-Presence (POP) Infrastructure
Monitoring electricity and temperature is crucial for maintaining PoP server performance. This research developed an Internet of Things (IoT)-based tool using a NodeMCU ESP32 to directly monitor these two factors. The ZMPT101B sensor measures electrical voltage, while the DHT22 sensor monitors the temperature of the room and server rack. Information obtained from the sensor is sent in real time via a Telegram Bot to the administrator. This tool is particularly useful for PoP located remotely, as...

Lightweight aggregate concrete reduces structural dead load but generally exhibits lower compressive strength and ductility than normal-weight concrete. This study experimentally evaluates the effectiveness of carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) confinement for low-density lightweight aggregate concrete, an area in which data for square sections remain limited. Twelve 300-mm-high specimens with a density of approximately 1550 kg/m³ were tested under monotonic concentric compression. The inves...

Freeze-Dried Phycocyanin Microcapsules: Effect of Maltodextrin-Soy Protein Ratios on Encapsulation Efficiency and Particle Properties
Natural pigments such as phycocyanin are highly sensitive to environmental conditions and therefore require stabilization to broaden their applications in functional products. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of varying ratios of maltodextrin and soy protein isolate (SPI) on the physical properties and encapsulation performance of freeze-dried phycocyanin microcapsules. Phycocyanin was extracted using phosphate buffer and encapsulated in three formulations with different maltodextrin–SPI...

Analysis Of The Relationship Between Vendors’ Characteristics, Knowledge, And Attitudes Towards Preparedness For Fire Hazards In Karangayu Market Semarang
Journal of Occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety
Vol 4
, No 1
(2026)
Markets as public facilities with high activity have potential fire hazard risks due to electrical installations, flammable materials, and building and visitor density. This study aims to analyze the relationship between characteristics, knowledge, and attitudes with the preparedness of traditional market traders to potential fire hazard risks. This study was conducted from October 2025 to February 2026 using an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach on 95 Karangayu mark...

Chemotherapy resistance in osteosarcoma remains a major clinical obstacle, largely driven by drug efflux mechanisms mediated by P-glycoprotein (ACBC1/ABCB1) and activation of NF-κB signaling (NFKB1). This study investigated the potential of Salinomycin to modulate these multidrug resistance–associated genes in U2OS osteosarcoma cells and explore its role in overcoming chemoresistance. A true experimental post-test-only control group design was used. U2OS cells were treated with varying concentra...

The challenges of recovery resilience in drug addicted clients: An addiction counselor's perspective
Drug addiction is a problem for addicted clients who need help recovering from addiction counselors. However, the challenges of resilience to recovery in the outpatient rehabilitation process are caused by social stress and the lack of meaning in life. Therefore, the research objective was to explore the challenges of resilience in recovery from drug addiction from the perspective of addiction counselors. A descriptive phenomenological design was used, supported by in-depth interviews with two p...

Developing a multidimensional maturity framework for emotional awareness: A systematic literature review
This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) aimed at identifying and analyzing the main dimensions and specific indicators in multidimensional emotional awareness (EA) maturity assessment instruments. Adhering to the PRISMA protocol and utilizing the Scopus database for the period 2015–2025, a total of 18 selected studies were examined through thematic and bibliometric analyses. The SLR results reveal that consistent dimensions in emotional awareness instruments include self-awarene...

Reframing the philosophy of pastoral counselling: An interdisciplinary dialogue between theology, existential psychology, and positive psychology
This study explores the need to reframe the philosophy of pastoral counselling through an interdisciplinary dialogue between theology, existential psychology, and positive psychology. Historically rooted in religious traditions, pastoral counselling has evolved by integrating psychological insights to address the holistic needs of individuals. However, contemporary cultural diversity, ethical complexity, and global social change demand a renewed philosophical foundation that is both theologicall...
