Sosialisasi Personal Hygiene Dalam upaya Pencegahan Penularan Covid-19 Di Desa Jambu, Jepara

Latar belakang: Upaya mengurangi penularan Covid-19 salah satunya dengan menjaga kualitas personal hygiene. Personal hygiene dapat menjadi langkah yang efektif dalam mencegah penularan Covid-19. Selain itu mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun dan air mengalir juga menjadi salah satu perilaku sanitasi dan upaya pencegahan penyakit. Tujuan: Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya personal hygiene dalam upaya pencegahan penularan Covid-19. Metode: Kegiatan sosialisasi dan penyuluhan dilaksanakan di RT 32 RW 07 Desa Jambu. Tim pengabdian memberikan pretest sebelum pelaksanaan penyuluhan . Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan atau penyampaian materi kemudian tim memberikan posttest. Selain penyuluhan tim juga melakukan penempelan poster pada tempat-tempat tertentu. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan meningkatkan pengetahuan warga dengan nilai pretest (24,29±3,96) dan nilai posttest (74,05±6,63). Kesimpulan: Sosialisasi dan penyuluhan personal hygiene dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan warga dalam upaya pencegahan penularan covid-19.

Abstract
Background: One of the efforts to reduce the transmission of Covid-19 is by maintaining the quality of personal hygiene. Personal hygiene can be an effective step in preventing the transmission of Covid-19. In addition, washing hands using soap and running water is also one of the sanitation behaviors and efforts to prevent disease. Objective: To increase knowledge about the importance of personal hygiene to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. Methods: Socialization and counseling activities were carried out in RT 32 RW 07 Jambu Village. The service team gave a pretest before the implementation of the counseling. After counseling or delivering the material, the team then gave a posttest. In addition to counseling, the team also put up posters in certain places. Results: The results of the activity increased the knowledge of the residents with a pretest value (24.29±3.96) and a posttest value (74.05±6.63) Conclusion: Socialization and counseling on personal hygiene can increase the knowledge of citizens to prevent the transmission of covid-19.
