đ Abstract
This study aims to find out about how people view and their attitudes towards former prisoners in Indonesia. The research method used is a descriptive analysis method with a conceptual approach that provides an analytical point of view to find solutions to existing problems, then this research is focused on examining how legal sociology views social discrimination and efforts to minimize it. The results showed that an ex-convict needs support from various elements of society as well as the government in order for them to continue their social life.
