ANALISIS YURIDIS KEWENANGAN BAWASLU SELAKU LEMBAGA PERADILAN KHUSUS PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA HASIL PEMILIHAN LANGSUNG KEPALA DAERAH

This research aims to determine the authority of Bawaslu in carrying out its duties as aspecial judicial body for resolving disputes over the results of regional head elections as well asdesign inhibiting factors. The subject used was Bawaslu, Buton Regency, Southeast SulawesiProvince. The data analysis model used in this research is the deduction method analysis. Basedon the research results, it can be concluded that the duties and authorities of the ElectionSupervisory Body (Bawaslu) are to implement the provisions of the 1945 Constitution, article 24paragraph (3), to strengthen or give authority to Bawaslu as a Special Judicial Body for Settlementof Disputes on Regional Head Election Results and inhibiting factors. establishment of a SpecialJudicial Body for Settlement of Disputes resulting from direct regional elections.Keywords: Bawaslu, authority, dispute, regional elections
