This study aims to determine and analyze the provisions of laws andregulations in Indonesia in the field of money laundering related to trade basedmoney laundering and to find out the prospects for dealing with trade basedmoney laundering. ) in Indonesia.The research method used is the type and source of the data obtainedthrough legal materials as primary data and supported by secondary data frombooks, laws and regulations and others. This study uses qualitative data analysis.The results of the study indicate that there are no legal provisions thatspecifically regulate trade based money laundering in Indonesia, there areloopholes or weaknesses in the formal law regulated in Law Number 8 of 2010concerning Prevention and Eradication.
