TINDAK PIDANA KEKERASAN TERHADAP ORANG ATAU BARANG SECARA BERSAMA-SAMA DI MUKA UMUM: (Studi Kasus Di Polres Boyolali)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the investigation of criminal actsof Article 170 of the Criminal Code and analyze the obstacles that exist in theinvestigation of criminal acts of Article 170 of the Criminal Code.The background of the research is that the Boyolali Police haveinvestigated the criminal acts of Article 170 of the Criminal Code. The investigationinto this case is interesting because it involves more than one suspect. The difficultylevel of investigating criminal acts Article 170 of the Criminal Code is more clearlyfelt by investigators because they have to reveal the role of each suspect.Research method: This type of research includes normative juridicalresearch because it only uses secondary data, the nature of the research isdescriptive, the data collection method is carried out by literature study anddocument study. The data analysis method was carried out qualitatively.The results showed that the investigation of criminal acts Article 170 ofthe Criminal Code begins with a public report, followed by examination of the sceneof the case, collecting evidence, making efforts to force arrest, detention andconfiscation of evidence, examination of witnesses, examination of suspects.Furthermore, a legal analysis was carried out on the facts that had been collectedand it was concluded that the suspects were deemed to have fulfilled the elementsof Article 170 of the Criminal Code.
