TINDAK PIDANA PELANGGARAN LALU LINTAS YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH ANAK SETELAH BERLAKUNYA UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 11 TAHUN 2012 TENTANG SISTEM PERADILAN ANAK DI POLRES SEMARANG

This study aims to determine the application of criminal law to trafficviolations that cause death by children at the Semarang Police Station. Theresearch conducted by the author uses qualitative research. Data analysis used aninteractive analysis model, with stages of data reduction, data presentation andthen drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis show that the application ofthe law by Semarang Police investigators who made a police report against thesuspect was not based on the provisions of the Criminal Code but by providing anindictment with Article 310 of the Traffic and Road Transport Law Number 22 of2009 was correct considering that legal science recognizes the principle whichstates that more specific regulations take precedence over general regulations (lexspecialist degorat lex generalis), in the sense of the Road Traffic andTransportation Law no. 22 of 2009 (lex specialist) overrides the Criminal Code(lex generalis).Keywords: Application, Law, traffic, Polres.
