PENYIDIKAN TINDAK PIDANA PENCURIAN DENGAN PEMBERATAN: (Studi Kasus di Wilayah Hukum Polres Klaten)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the investigation of the crime oftheft with its weights and obstacles, especially those that have been handled at theKlaten Police.The background of the research is that at the Klaten Police there has beena case of theft with weights carried out by two people in an alliance and carriedout in a destructive way before the perpetrators take other people's belongings.The case is interesting to analyze, namely when investigators try to uncover thefacts in fulfilling the juridical elements of the crime of theft by weighting.The research method consists of the type of research is normativejuridical, the nature of the research is descriptive. The data needed is secondarydata, while the data collection method is done by means of literature study. Thedata analysis method was carried out qualitatively.The results showed that the investigation of the criminal act of theft byweight was carried out without any coercion. The fulfillment of the elements ofthe crime of theft with weights is obtained from the statements of severalwitnesses and the statements of the suspect. The obstacle is that revealing the factstakes a long time, important evidence is often lost.Keywords: Investigation, Crime of Theft with Weights, Klaten Police.
