Abstract
Background: Health is a fundamental aspect of human life. However, access to adequate health services remains a challenge in many areas, especially in rural areas. Dissatisfaction with conventional medicine, economic constraints, and the lack of traditional healing values are reasons why people prefer traditional medicine over conventional treatment. Objective: To educate about the importance of utilizing family medicinal plants (TOGA) while supporting health independence through safe, effective, and affordable alternative therapies. Method: The activity was carried out in several stages: outreach, training, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and program sustainability as a solution to empower partners. Result: In terms of management, partners gained knowledge about TOGA plant cultivation, product processing, and digital marketing. Some partners have experienced income generation from their businesses. Partners' social understanding of the use of safe, standardized herbal products will reduce the burden on primary health care services that prioritize synthetic drugs. Conclusion: Partners are able to implement TOGA cultivation technology using the Hydroponic Wick System method. Partners also experienced increased knowledge about TOGA and its benefits.
