Edukasi Tentang General Check-Up Sebagai Upaya Deteksi Dini Penyakit Tidak Menular

📄 Abstract
Latar belakang: Kesehatan merupakan faktor krusial dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat, namun masih banyak warga yang kurang menyadari pentingnya pemeriksaan kesehatan secara rutin. Keterbatasan akses, waktu, dan biaya menjadi kendala utama dalam menjalani pemeriksaan kesehatan dasar, sehingga meningkatkan risiko penyakit kronis yang tidak terdeteksi sejak dini. Melalui program General Check-Up (GCU). Tujuan: kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menghadirkan layanan kesehatan yang mudah diakses serta edukasi gaya hidup sehat guna mendukung upaya promotif dan preventif di tingkat komunitas. Metode: kegiatan dilakukan pendekatan kepada warga di wilayah RW 5 Kelurahan Lamper Tengah dengan memperkenalkan diri dan menjalin hubungan yang baik dengan warga setempat. Sosialisasi menggunakan leaflet untuk menjelaskan serta mendemontrasikan terkait pemeriksaan kesehatan atau GCU, kemuadian dilanjutkan dengan melaksanakan kegiatan pemeriksaan kesehatan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19 Januari 2025. Sasaran dari program pemeriksaan kesehatan ini adalah warga berusia diatas 60 (lansia) tahun ke atas. Hasil: kelompok partisipan dengan kisaran usia 60-80 tahun, didapati hasil tensi tertinggi sebesar 152/110 mmHg dan terendah 100/70 mmHg. kadar gula darah tertinggi sebesar 512 mg/dL dengan angka terendah ssebesar 44 mg/dl. kadar tertinggi sebesar 317 mg/dL, dan angka terendah sebesar 130 mg/dl. Kadar asam urat pada partisipan tercatat sebesar 11,4 mg/dL terendah 3,9 mg/dl. Terdapat peningkatan nilai post test dibanding pre test Kesimpulan: Kegiatan sosialisasi dan pemeriksaan kesehatan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran warga tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan kesehatan secara rutin.

Background: Health is a crucial factor in improving the quality of life of the community, but many residents are still unaware of the importance of regular health checks. Limited access, time, and costs are the main obstacles to undergoing basic health checks, thus increasing the risk of chronic diseases that are not detected early. Through the General Check-Up (GCU) program. Objective: This community service activity aims to provide easily accessible health services and promote healthy lifestyle education to support community-level promotive and preventive efforts. Method: The activity was carried out by approaching residents in the RW 5 area of Lamper Tengah Village by introducing themselves and establishing good relationships with residents. Socialization used leaflets to explain and demonstrate health checks or GCU, then continued with carrying out health check activities. This activity was carried out on January 19, 2025. The target of this health check program was residents aged over 60 (elderly) years and above. Result: The participant group with an age range of 60-80 years, found the highest blood pressure results of 152/110 mmHg and the lowest 100/70 mmHg. The highest blood sugar level was 512 mg/dL, with a lowest of 44 mg/dL. The highest level was 317 mg/dL, and the lowest was 130 mg/dL. Participants' uric acid levels were recorded at 11.4 mg/dL, with a lowest of 3.9 mg/dL. There was an increase in post-test scores compared to pre-test scores. Conclusion: Socialization and health check-ups can increase public awareness of the importance of regular health check-ups.
