Abstract
Background: Kemawi Village is the highest contributor to stunting in Semarang Regency caused by public ignorance about stunting and lack of nutritional fulfillment, especially protein for newborns up to 1000 HPK. Health education is needed to increase knowledge and provide skills related to stunting and how to increase nutrition and protein in the form of a variety of food menus in the Provision of Additional Food (PMT) to the community, especially PKK cadres and Posyandu cadres in Kemawi Village. Objective: The activity aims to reduce the high stunting rate in Kemawi Village. Method: The method used in implementing the activity is a socialization approach followed by training and demonstration of making vegetable nuggets as additional food for children. Result: Providing modified additional food for two months has succeeded in helping to increase children's weight and length even though they are still in the stunting category. Conclusion: There is an increase in public understanding of the problem of stunting in Kemawi Village and increased creativity in making food to fulfill nutrition and protein.
