TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DRIVER TRANSPORTASI ONLINE DALAM PERTOLONGAN PERTAMA PADA KECELAKAAN LALU LINTAS DI KOTA PANGKALPINANG

Background: Road accident could make people suffer and die. Online taxi drivers are vulnerable to traffic accidents while driving. One procedure to reduce the number of victims of disability or death can be done by giving first aid to traffic accident victims properly, quickly, and correctly.
Objectives: The object of this research was determined the level of knowledge of online taxi drivers in providing first aid to traffic accident victims on the roads in the Pangkalpinang City area in 2024. Method: This research method uses quantitative descriptive, survey sample research design, sampling determination using purposive sampling of 56 online transportation driver respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire adopted from the First Aid Pocket Book for Road Accidents Be a Road Accident Helper Everyone Can Be a Helper published by the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2019. The data were analyzed quantitatively with univariate analysis and the data were processed with the frequency distribution formula. Results: This research method used a cross sectional on 56 respondent of online taxi drivers. The statistical test show that one respondent (1.8%) has good knowledge level, 18 respondents (32.1%) have middle knowledge level and 37 respondents (66.1%) have low knowledge level. Conclusion: The result showed that level of knowledge of online motorcycle taxi drivers in providing first aid to traffic accident victims on the roads in the Pangkalpinang City still low.
