HUBUNGAN TINGGI BADAN IBU HAMIL DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA BALITA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PEKAUMAN BANJARMASIN
π Abstract
Objective: To determine the relationship between the height of pregnant women and the incidence of stunting among children under five years at the Pekauman Community Health Center, Banjarmasin
Methods: Quantitative research type, cross sectional design. The total sample was 30 parents and children under five years. Accidental sampling technique. Data collection techniques used frequency distribution tables and cross tables. Research data was collected by looking at the mother's height during pregnancy in the KIA book and anthropometric examination, and analyzed using the Chi Square test.
Results: Pregnant height <150 cm was 20 people (67%), the incidence of stunting in children under five years was 18 people (60%). There is a relationship between the height of pregnant women and the incidence of stunting in the Pekauman Banjarmasin Health Center Working Area (p-value=0.000; <0.05)
Conclusion: The height of pregnant women is related to the incidence of stunting. Parents of children under five years should always monitor their weight, height every month and nutritional intake to reduce the risk of stunting
