Salah satu masalah kesehatan yang terjadi selama masa kehamilan adalah anemia. Berdasarkan data profil Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Tengah 2015 jumlah AKI di Kabupaten Rembang sebanyak 8 kasus dengan 3 kasus (37,5%) disebabkan oleh perdarahan.
