Strengthening strategies for renewable energy resources (RES) through educational analysis, participation, services, and regulation based on mixed methods
Jurnal Elektronika dan Komputer
Vol 5
, No 1
(2025)
Indonesia has extraordinary resources and potential in developing renewable energy sources (RES), but various obstacles must be overcome in implementing RES. The purpose of this study is to analyze the gap in the application of RES. This gap includes energy knowledge, community participation, battery waste management, service quality, regulation, and legal policy. This study uses a mixed-methods approach, by conducting a structured questionnaire in quantitative data collection, while qualitative...

This study developed a hybrid adsorbent derived from activated fly ash (FA) and humic acid (HA) for effective Mn²⁺ removal from aqueous solutions. Fly ash was activated using 1 M NaOH to increase its surface hydroxyl groups (≡Si–OH and ≡Al–OH) and enhance reactivity. The activated FA was then composited with HA, which contains abundant –COOH and –OH groups, forming an inorganic–organic hybrid with improved adsorption capability. The HA–FA composite with a 1:3 mass ratio exhibited the highest Mn²...

The incorporation of wood dust and crumb rubber waste as filler in polymer matrix composite still requires in-depth evaluation of mechanical properties because they have different characteristics. This study evaluates the tensile, flexural, and hardness properties of epoxy composites reinforced with various fractions of wood dust and crumb rubber (5, 10, and 15%). The results showed that the composite with 5% crumb rubber produced the highest tensile strength of 15.52 MPa (CR5), while the highes...
