Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan limbah sabut buah lontar/siwalan untuk dijadikan adsorben zat warna merilan biru. Sabut buah lontar dipreparasi dengan ukuran 80 mesh kemudian dilakukan optimasi uji penyerapan metilen biru.
