Role peer support and gratitude on the resilience of adolescent flood victims: Failure of self-compassion mediation
In Aceh Singkil, flooding is a common calamity that affects teenagers' mental health, particularly their capacity to endure and adjust following emotional strain. Teenage resilience is impacted by both internal and external elements, including self-compassion, gratitude, and peer support. There isn't much research that incorporates these three variables into a thorough structural model in the context of teenage flood victims in Indonesia, though, as prior studies still frequently only look at a...

Beyond self-control: self-compassion as a mediator in the dynamics of self-control, self-esteem, and emotional regulation among adolescents
This study reveals the psychological mechanisms underlying emotional regulation in adolescents, emphasizing the role of self-compassion as a mediator between self-control and self-esteem. Using a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM analysis on 800 adolescents in Padang, the results indicate that all hypotheses were supported. Self-control, self-esteem, and self-compassion significantly influence emotional regulation, both directly and indirectly. Specifically, self-compassion was found to be a ke...

Fractional Corner Charges in Ionic Crystals: A Case Study of Sodium Chloride Using the DV-Xα Molecular Orbital Method
Recent theoretical predictions have revealed that even simple ionic crystals such as sodium chloride (NaCl) can exhibit fractional corner charges due to their topological characteristics. In this study, we employ the DV-Xα molecular orbital method to analyze the electronic structure of NaCl clusters in 1D, 2D, and 3D configurations. Cluster models were constructed with varying atomic numbers, and their highest occupied molecular orbitals (HOMOs), net atomic charges, and electrostatic potential m...

Road Damage Management Model Due to Overloading: AHP Priorities and Policy Implications (Case Study of Lampung Province)
Advance Sustainable Science, Engineering and Technology (ASSET)
Vol 8
, No 1
(2025)
Lampung Province serves as a vital gateway for Trans-Sumatra-Java land transportation, placing a heavy burden on its 1,298 km of national roads. Managed by the Lampung National Road Traffic Management Agency (BPJN), these roads face accelerated degradation primarily due to Over-Dimension and Over-Loading (ODOL) vehicles. This study aims to identify causal variables of road damage, analyze significant parameters, and prioritize road sections for maintenance. Data were gathered through interviews...

Partially Homomorphic Encryption for Supporting Encrypted Data Retrieval in Relational Databases
Jurnal Elektronika dan Komputer
Vol 18
, No 2
(2025)
Relational databases store information in interconnected tables and are widely used for data management and retrieval. However, in certain environments, the original values stored in a relational database cannot be exposed during data retrieval. This limitation creates a challenge because common encryption methods only transform data for storage and do not support mathematical operations needed for value matching. Partially Homomorphic Encryption is a cryptographic approach that allows specific...

The rapid growth in sales of body perfume products has resulted in competition among them. This competition has encouraged body perfume entrepreneurs to be more strategic in selling their products. The phenomena of body perfume sales experienced by the Cempaka company cannot be separated from the target market share. The body perfume business's market strategy is correlated with product knowledge, product price, and product packaging design to meet product usage innovations. This view shows that...

The adoption of land conservation technologies (LCTs) in smallholder farming systems often remains limited due to diverse, context specific constraints, highlighting the need for localized analyses. This study examines the barriers to LCTs adoption among cassava farmers residing on landslide-prone volcanic slopes in Magelang Regency, Indonesia. A qualitative approach was employed, involving semi-structured interviews with eight low-income farmers. The analysis identifies two key determinants of...

Diverse individual experiences and problems often lead to painful psychological disorders, one of which is the traumatic experience of individuals who have been involved in train accidents, which can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder. This condition requires responsive and serious attention, as it can have negative and long-lasting effects. One effort that can be made to overcome this problem is the implementation of individual counseling using the eye movement desensitization reprocessing...

Mustard greens are an important leafy vegetable widely cultivated in North Central Timor Regency due to their high demand and their ability to grow in various soil types. Optimizing the production of this crop requires adaptive and environmentally friendly cultivation techniques. This study was conducted to assess the effects of different combinations of growing media and liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) doses on the growth and yield of mustard greens in a semi-arid region. The experiment was car...
