๐Ÿ“„ Abstract

Breast cancer has one clinical treatment is chemotherapy. Some people who undergo chemotherapy usually have different reactions, such as fear, anxiety, tension, sadness, or anger. There are some who don't want to accept their situation and start blaming themselves. A patient who doesn't accept the condition will worsen his mental condition rather than overcome the problem. The study used a non-experimental design with a cross-sectional approach of as many as 55 sample respondents in the study. Spearman's rank test was used to analyze bivariate data. Self-acceptance was found to be linked to the resilience of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy from 55 respondents, 38 showed good self-acceptability and 33 showed a good resiliency. The results of the bivariate analysis showed counting values (p 0,000 < 0,05) and (r) 0,578, which suggested that there was a link between self acceptance and the resilience of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
