Perbedaan Kadar Kolesterol pada Pengguna Kontrasepsi Pil KB dan KB Suntik di Desa Wangandowo Kecamatan Bojong Kabupaten Pekalongan

Indonesian people generally use contraceptives to delay pregnancy. Contraceptives that are widely chosen by the public are contraceptives, pills, and injections. One of the effects of using contraceptive pills and injections is an increase in cholesterol levels in the blood. The contraceptive users of birth control pills and injectable birth control in this study were contraceptive users in Wangandowo Village, Bojong District, Pekalongan Regency. This study aims to determine whether or not there are differences in cholesterol levels in contraceptive users of birth control pills and injectable birth control. This study uses analytical research methods, which is research that aims to see the difference between cholesterol levels in contraceptive users of birth control pills with injectable birth control with a total sample of 45 samples. This examination uses the CHOD – PAP method using a spectrophotometer. The results of cholesterol examination in contraceptive users of birth control pills with an average of 175.00 had normal cholesterol levels as many as 14 respondents with cholesterol levels ranging from 120-190 mg / dl and high cholesterol levels as many as 1 respondent with levels of 219 mg / dl while in injectable birth control contraceptive users had normal cholesterol levels as many as 25 respondents with cholesterol levels ranging from 87-192 mg / dl and who had high cholesterol levels as many as 5 respondents with cholesterol levels 202-228 mg/dl. There is no difference in cholesterol levels in contraceptive users of birth control
