Hasil Pemeriksaan Kristal Kalsium Oksalat Sedimen Urin pada Barista Cafe Peminum Kopi di Wilayah Kecamatan Tirto dan Kecamatan Wiradesa Kabupaten Pekalongan

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages among the people due to its characteristic aroma. Coffee contains caffeine, which if consumed in excess can lead to increased sediment in urine. Urine sediment is one of the urine tests that examines organic and inorganic substances, including calcium oxalate crystals. Calcium oxalate crystals are a type of crystal formed from calcium and oxalate. Baristas at cafes in Tirto and Wiradesa sub-districts are heavy coffee drinkers. The aim this research is to determine the presence of calcium oxalate crystals in urine sediment among barista coffee drinkers in the Tirto and Wiradesa sub-districts of Pekalongan Regency. A descriptive study was conducted using exhaustive sampling, collecting 24 urine samples from barista coffee drinkers. The calcium oxalate crystal examination was done microscopically. From 24 urine samples of barista coffee drinkers in the Tirto and Wiradesa sub-districts of Pekalongan Regency, the results showed + calcium oxalate crystals is 7 samples (29.16%), with +++ is 4 samples (16.67%), and negative is 13 samples negative(54.17%). Calcium oxalate crystals were found in cafe baristas who drank coffee in the Tirto and Wiradesa sub-districts of Pekalongan Regency.
