Implementasi Certainty Factors pada Sistem Diagnosa Penyakit Ternak Ayam Berbasis Web

📄 Abstract

Chicken becomes one of animals that is mostly cultivated by livestock companies and by people in society. The maintenance and care of chickens must be suitable and proper in order to produce good quality of chickens and avoid disease. Chicken disease is one of the factors of loss for breeders, especially contagious disease, if not handled properly, can infect the other chickens. Therefore, the loss experienced by the breeders will be greater. However, due to the lack of doctors in the Regency of Batang, breeders do not take the sick chickens to the vet. To handle that matter, an expert system was created to diagnose disease in chickens with the Certainty Factors method. This expert system was developed with PHP and MySQL and also by using the development system ESDLC (Expert System Development Life Cycle). This expert system will present the possibility of disease that is suffered by chickens with the symptoms input by users as well as the ways of treatment and prevention. With this expert system, it is hoped that it can help breeders to diagnose a disease in chickens. From the implementation of the system in this study, 55% of users strongly agreed that the Certainty Factor expert system on Web-Based Disease Diagnosis in Chicken Livestock could assist users in diagnosing a disease in chicken.
