đ Abstract
Digital transformation encourages Islamic banking institutions to enhance service accessibility through the adoption of financial technology. This study aims to analyze the role of fintech in improving service accessibility at BSI KCP Karang Kobar and to understand how digitalization alters service patterns. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through in depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of fintech through the BYOND by BSI application significantly increases transaction accessibility, accelerates service processes, and reduces dependence on face to face services. The role of front liners has shifted from transactional services to digital education and customer assistance, while the presence of CRM machines enhances operational efficiency. Digitalization also enables customer segmentation based on digital behavior, allowing for more precise service strategies. However, challenges remain, including limited digital literacy among some customers and the need for stronger IT infrastructure. Overall, fintech plays a crucial role in improving service quality and expanding access to Islamic banking in the digital era.
