📄 Abstract

Local governments have implemented innovations. Innovation is still fragmented on activities undertaken by some regional devices. The overall innovation of the region has not been integrated into medium-term planning that will trigger the achievement of regional development goals. Nevertheless innovation has been able to create public confidence in the government. Innovation can be done is innovation on basic services such as birth certificate fulfillment service for infant born or 0-18 years old. Some districts have built innovation, and can be replicated. Innovation must consider several things: ideas, human resource capacity, means and prasarna and community support. Keywords: innovation, local government, birth certificate
