SISTEM KENDALI HOT SAW PADA PEMOTONGAN SAMPEL BAJA PROFIL

đ Abstract
In the section mill production process that produces various types of steel products including Equel Angel, I Beam, H Beam, WF Beam, U Channel with various sizes according to factory standards and consumer custom. Hot saw is a profile steel sample cutting machine at PT Krakatau Baja Konstruksi which is carried out by operators in QC (Quality Control). The control system on the hot saw machine at the PT Krakatau Baja Konstruksi factory is semi-automatic. In this study the authors used observation, interview, and literature study methods. The hot saw control system itself at PT Krakatau Baja Konstruksi is using HMI (Human Machine Interface) to make it easier for operators to operate hot saw machines using WinCC as a graphical visualization for hot saw machines in the colling bed area at the profile steel production plant. In addition to using WinCC as a visual screen, a control desk is also used as an up button and a bottom button on a sample cutting machine or what is commonly called a hot saw.
