Perilaku merokok merupakan perilaku yang membahayakan kesehatan sehingga pada setiap bungkus rokok dan iklan rokok diharuskan untuk mencantumkan bahaya merokok. Namun demikian perilaku bahaya merokok nampaknya tidak terlalu mengurangi animo remaja untuk merokok. Data dari WHO menunjukkan bahwa 30% jumlah perokok adalah kaum muda, 24% remaja pria di Indonesia juga merokok.
