Upaya pemerintah dalam penurunan AKB dan AKN sejalan dengan tujuan SDG’s yaitu masalah kesehatan, dimana menyusui dapat meningkatkan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Presentase pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi 0-6 bulan Kab.Tegal merupakan urutan 8 terendah dari 35 kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jawa Tengah.
