Batik wastewater poses an environmental threat due to hazardous heavy metals like lead, cadmium, and chromium (Cr). This study investigated the effectiveness of SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast), a microbial consortium from kombucha production, in reducing Cr levels in batik wastewater.
