Setiap tahun terdapat mahasiswa yang bunuh diri karena stres dalam menyusun skripsi. Hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti menunjukkan bahwa tingkat stres yang dialami mahasiswa Stikes ‘Aisyiyah Surakarta dari 20 responden, stres sedang sebanyak 17 responden (85%), stres berat sebanyak 2 responden (10%) dan stres ringan sebanyak 1 responden (5%).
