Permasalahan gizi yang sering pada remaja adalah anemia. Dampak dari anemia gizi pada remaja putri diantaranya prestasi belajar menurun karena daya konsentrasi belajar menurun. Angka kejadian anemia di Kabupaten Sukoharjo didapatkan anemia pada usia sekolah sebesar 26,5% menurut data Dinkes Provinsi Jateng 2014 dan meningkat menjadi 51,36 % pada 2018.
