Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) tahun 2013 di Kabupaten Magelang dilaporkan sebanyak 58 kasus dengan kematian yang terjadi pada masa postpartum berjumlah 11 kasus. Hasil Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2012 menunjukan Angka Kematian Bayi sebesar 32 kematian/1.000 kelahiran hidup, 50 % kejadian kematian terjadi pada 24 jam pertama dan 75 % kematian terjadi pada minggu pertama.
