Data persalinan di Banjarnegara pada tahun 2021 sekitar 14.283, sedangkan angka persalinan di Puskesmas Purwanegara 1 cukup tinggi pada tahun 2021 yaitu 458. Data pra survey menunjukan bahwa dari total 23 ibu bersalin, 15 diantaranya mengeluhkan nyeri persalinan.
