Pendahuluan: Bunga kecombrang dapat menurunkan glukosa darah dengan mekanisme menghambat enzim pencernaan karbohidrat pada usus halus. Jahe memiliki kandungan gingerol dan shogaol yang mampu menaikkan produksi insulin. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental, hewan uji diinduksi aloksan dosis 150 mg/kg BB secara intraperitoneal.
