The Effect of Egg Weight on Fertility, Hatchability, and Hatching Weight in Ducks: A Quantitative Observational Study
Egg weight is one of the physical characteristics often associated with reproductive performance in ducks, particularly fertility, hatchability, and hatching weight. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of egg weight on fertility, hatchability, and Day Old Duck (DOD) weight. A quantitative approach with an analytical observational design was applied to 100 duck eggs incubated under standard temperature and humidity conditions using an incubator. Parameters observed included egg weight, fertil...

Agricultural waste biomass is explored as a sustainable precursor for activated carbon. In this study, rice husk-derived activated carbon (RHAC) was synthesized via microwave-assisted pyrolysis and KOH activation at 600, 700, and 800 °C. The KOH activation enhanced the thermal stability of the samples, with RHAC_700 exhibiting a spongy, interconnected structure and a surface area of 390.33 m² g⁻¹. When evaluated as a half-cell anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, RHAC_700 delivered an init...

Vol 7
, No 4
(2025)
Medical images play a vital role in diagnosis and clinical decision-making, yet their transmission and storage pose significant privacy and security challenges. This research proposes a visual stego-encryption system that integrates the Lorenz chaotic algorithm with Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) to embed both secret medical data and a doctor's digital signature into a visually meaningful encrypted image (VMEI). The system employs dual-layer embedding and role-based access control, allowing ad...
