Sosialisasi dan Edukasi Anemia pada Kelompok Wanita Desa Cikidang, Cilongok, Banyumas

📄 Abstract
Latar Belakang : Anemia merupakan penyakit multifaktorial. Penyebab anemia bisa disebabkan oleh faktor gizi (zat besi, asam folat dan vitamin B12) dan faktor non gizi seperti genetik (anemia sel sabit dan talasemia), autoimun (anemia hemolitik) malabsorpsi (akloridria), penyakit kronis seperti (kanker), infeksi (malaria) dan faktor sosio-demografis. Di antara banyak penyebab yang berbeda, kekurangan zat besi yang menyebabkan anemia paling sering, terutama pada wanita usia subur seperti remaja dan ibu hamil. Anemia pada wanita usia subur (WUS) bukan suatu problem yang langka di seluruh dunia, baik di negara maju maupun negara berkembang. Wanita yang masih mengalami menstruasi, hamil, dan melahirkan secara alami sepanjang hidupnya, sehingga berisiko tinggi mengalami anemia. Pada penelusuran pertama diperoleh data 2 kematian wanita usia subur pada bulan April 2023 yang disebabkan oleh riwayat anemia yang tidak diketahui sebelumnya, hal ini menunjukkan rendahnya pengetahuan tentang anemia di Desa Cikidang. Tujuan: Kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan tentang anemia bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat untuk tentang anemia. Metode: Edukasi digunakan sebagai metode kegiatan pengabdian ini. Evaluasi kegiatan menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah kegiaatan Edukasi. Hasil: Hasil pengabdian kegiatan menunjukkan rerata skor pre-test sebesar 56% dan post-test sebesar 83% . Dari hasil tersebut terdapat peningkatan rata-rata skor sebesar 27% tingkat pengetahuan tentang anemia pada kelompok wanita di desa Cikidang. Kesimpulan: Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang anemia setelah dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan dan pemberian edukasi tentang anemia serta olahan makanan bergizi berbahan baku bayam merah dalam pencegahan anemia pada kelompok wanita desa Cikidang.

Abstract
Background: Anemia is a multifactorial disease, the causes of anemia can be caused by nutritional factors (iron, folic acid, and vitamin B12) and non-nutritional factors such as genetics (sickle cell anemia and thalassemia), autoimmune (hemolytic anemia), malabsorption (achlorhydria), chronic diseases such as (cancer), infections (malaria) and socio-demographic factors. Among the many different causes, iron deficiency causes anemia most often, especially in women of childbearing age such as teenagers and pregnant women. Anemia in women of childbearing age is not a rare problem throughout the world, both in developed and developing countries. Women who still menstruate, get pregnant and give birth naturally throughout their lives are at high risk of experiencing anemia. In the first search, data was obtained on 2 deaths of women of childbearing age in April 2023 which turned out to be caused by a previously unknown history of anemia. This shows the low level of knowledge about anemia in Cikidang Village. Objective: Health education activities about anemia aim to help people understand what anemia. Method: Education is used as a method for this service activity. Evaluation of activities using a questionnaire given before and after educational activities. Result: The results of the activity showed that there was an average pre-test score of 56% and a post-test of 83%. From these results, there was an increase in the average score of 27% in the level of knowledge about anemia in the group of women in Cikidang village. Conclusion: There was an increase in participants' knowledge about anemia after health education and providing education about anemia as well as nutritious food preparations made from red spinach in preventing anemia in the women's group in Cikidang village.
