Students' errors in solving ethnomathematics word problems using the newman procedure: A perspective from learning styles
Some students had difficulty solving ethnomathematics word problems, indicating the need for further research to address this issue. This study aims to identify the types of errors made and the factors causing them. It applies Newman's Error Analysis, which includes reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skill errors, and writing errors in the final answer. It incorporates the role of ethnomathematics as an innovation in contextual learning that introduces Indonesia...

Mangrove Loss and Blue Carbon decline in Indonesia’s Coastal Regions
Indonesia has the largest mangrove area in the world and supports high diversity, including 92 true mangrove species. They provide critical ecosystem services such as protection from floods, disaster risk reduction, fisheries support, carbon sequestration, and erosion prevention. Despite their importance, Indonesia has experienced significant mangrove loss/destruction over the past two centuries. This is majorly driven by factors such as pollution, illegal logging, rapid urbanization, agricultur...

Numerical Simulation of Mixed Convection Heat Transfer in a Vehicle Cabin with Variable Aspect Ratios Using CFD
The study of mixed convection heat transfer within rectangular cavities is a vital topic in engineering applications such as ventilation systems and heat exchangers. In this research, ANSYS Fluent software was used to simulate heat transfer within a rectangular cavity. The left wall was heated, and the right wall was cooled; the aspect ratio (AR) was varied (0.5-2), and an inlet was installed at the top and an outlet at the bottom, while the other walls were insulated. The Reynolds number (Re) v...

Design and Optimization of an Automated Ceramic Drying System Using Arduino for Small and Medium Enterprises
The ceramic drying process in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) often relies on ambient conditions, leading to prolonged drying times and inconsistencies in product quality. This study presents the design and optimization of an automated ceramic drying system that utilizes an Arduino-based microcontroller to regulate temperature and airflow in real-time. A full factorial experimental design was employed to investigate the influence of two critical parameters—temperature (35°C, 40°C, 45°C) and...

Agricultural waste biomass is explored as a sustainable precursor for activated carbon. In this study, rice husk-derived activated carbon (RHAC) was synthesized via microwave-assisted pyrolysis and KOH activation at 600, 700, and 800 °C. The KOH activation enhanced the thermal stability of the samples, with RHAC_700 exhibiting a spongy, interconnected structure and a surface area of 390.33 m² g⁻¹. When evaluated as a half-cell anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, RHAC_700 delivered an init...

Pengaruh Leverage, Ukuran Perusahaan, Profitabilitas, dan Likuiditas Terhadap Pembayaran Dividen Pada Perusahaan LQ45 Periode 2023-2024
Dividend payment is an important financial decision that reflects a company’s performance and prospects from the perspective of investors. However, companies included in the LQ45 index still experience fluctuations in dividend payment policies from year to year. This study aims to analyze the effect of leverage, firm size, profitability, and liquidity on dividend payments of companies listed in the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2023–2024 period. This research employ...
